Thumbs up 2018 Mini Countryman S as a Loaner

I just wanted to share my experience with you. I had to have my 2008 Mini Cooper S go into the shop/dealership for service, and I asked for a loaner, and I
thought they were going to give me something similar, and they loaned me a 2018 Mini Cooper S Countryman with most of the trimmings. I had it for a week, and all I can
say is OMG! This car is f'n amazing. Roomy, FAST, comfortable, cornering, space, toys, EVERYTHING. If only I could afford one, I would run to the
dealership and pick one up right away. This car is TRUELY amazing!

Unusual to hear someone from a smaller MINI go gaga over a Countryman. I wouldn't mind having one but already have too many cars. Maybe next time, although Clubman is probably my next one.

Hey MTM, it's probably because I only had the 2008 a few weeks and since getting it, the Mrs is always driving it and I drive my Jeep Renegade. But when it went into the shop, I got to
drive this and it's something special. Not to mention I am a BIG guy, so the extra room in the Countryman over the Mini S Coupe is definitely a plus

I want one of those with a manual. I think they look awesome. I wonder if it's a tank in the snow?

MINI and Volvo have the best looking cars on the road right now, IMO

Wow - I don't think I've ever heard anyone claim the CM is "fast"... I guess it depends what you're coming from?!

Ha, the wife thinks the MINI is fast. I say it's somewhat quick Fast to me is 13 seconds or faster in the 1/4.

Mine goes around 6 seconds from 0 to 100km\h. That is absolutely fast!

They loaned you that car because they figured you were due to replace yours... the sales boys aren't stupid you know.

Guy had a All4 S on a group run and I was amazed at how well it handled even with run flats.
