OEM axles for R53

Well, my axles are about to bite the dust. Good replacements aren't cheap. Looking to buy second hand low mileage if possible. Let me know what you've got!

IMO, try to find a remanufactured. You'll save alot over new.

Remanufactured

Look at RockAuto. Good price and quality, and very inexpensive return shipping on your cores.

My car makes enough power to grenade a rockauto axle. Looking for OEM/GKN axles. They don't fail every 2k miles. Thanks.

I didn't go with the cheap ones; I got the CardOne and they were clearly remanufactured OEM shafts right down to the stampings. And I've been using them pretty vigorously for a year with no problems. I agree with you about RockAuto "economy" parts.

Still don't trust em. Especially since my Mini is lowered + extra HP. I know my OEM axles handled the abuse well for a couple years now. And I know cardone uses cheap bearings. I'd rather not risk a cheap axle breaking and lunging a hole in to my trans casing. Appreciate the input though.
