1) I thought I saw a post/strand somewhere that mentioned a removable arm-rest for the MC/MCS.
For day-to-day driving, I don't expect it to be very useful but for longer trips (like the one from Wisconsin to Washington I'll be making in January!!!) it might come in handy. Anyone seen a picture or a link for one of these things?

2) I've seen pictures of the Mini roof rack w/attachments including the new Mini (rocket) box. Has anyone actually seen/felt one of these things? I'm curious to hear from you about quality of design, sturdiness, etc.

Thanks.
R

There is an aftermarket armrest available from minimania.com that has an area for storage under the arm pad. It screws to the center console using existing holes I think. I don't have this but I'm sure some others around here do. Right now it is only sold in one color (charcoal... matches the panther black) but I think more colors are to follow.
Gotmini.com also sells an aftermarket armrest, but without the storage compartment.

Hope this helps!

Actually - hck out our web page at http://www.rspeed.net under the interior section. We have a great arm rest that is made in Italy and is selling like hot cakes - in different colors. Here's a picture. If you have any questions, email me at peter@rspeed.net

so, the synthetic leather grey one exactly matches the synthetic leather interior of my car?
Also is this the same as the minimania one that bolts into the rear cupholder?

Either one looks great in the Mini - the grey one matches best due to the grey hue in the dash. Yes, this mounts inside the rear cup holder, but allows you to use the rear cup holder in place.

Just ordered mine. My wife is going to kill me if I keep ordering stuff for the MINI. But first she will have to catch us.
