Anyone have the scoop on what is going on with Convertible Alarms in the US?

I picked up my MCSC yesterday but the dealer still doesn't have a part number for the convertible alarm.

I'm also not clear on whether the alarm will have some kind of interior motion sensor?

Last thing I read a month ago on another forum is that the motion sensors were to sensitive and would go off during a hard rain. Maybe a fix is not in yet.

 

My dealership put in a crappy aftermarket alarm. After complaining they agreed to take it out and reimburse me, because they said they can't get the MINI alarm for the car.
