Was wondering if anyone knew of anything happening with the opening or grand opening of the new Charlotte Mini dealership? Is a group planning on being there for the opening, is the dealership doing something for Mini owners, etc.?

If anyone knows of something happening please post to the board.

 

Haven't seen anything about a get together that day. They're scheduled to open on the 19th,which is a Friday. I don't know if many people could make it then with work and all. Maybe something could be worked out for the 20th. Someone down there will have to contact the dealership about it.

 

We are going to stop by Hendrick MINI on Saturday Nov 20th after the detail clinic. We would be glad to have you join us.

Hendrick MINI maybe opening sooner than the 19th. The manager, Ed has promised to call me with an update and I will post ASAP.

Hendrick MINI has invited us to stop by every Saturday morning for coffee and donuts once they open. They want to be active with all MINI owners.

Ed, I know you are just kidding, because you and I stop by Century once or twice a week and grab a diet coke.

We are lucky that the MINI dealers are so open to us. I think as a group we need to arrange more M2C2 events or just MINI owner events at all MINI dealers in the Carolinas. Any member that has a good relationship with any dealer could help. Just my .02.

What time do you figure the group will meet there? I can't make it earlier to the clinic, but I might drive down to say hi at the dealership.
