Got my first (almost) flat today. Car felt like it was pulling to the right (its a republican ) and I thought it might be alignment or tire wear. I had to park and later when I began running... the light comes on! I think - "hunh?", and I get out and what do you know...passenger front is low, but not flat. I made it to the tire shop (I'm runflat free) and got it fixed. Cool. Isn't THAT special.

 

That's cool to see it work. Out of curiousity, how much lower was the tire pressure compared to the others?

 

I didn't measure it, but it was low enough for me to be able to push on the sidewall and see quite a bit of "give."

I would guess about 11 psi?

 

Mine has gone off severall times, the difference in pressure from the other three tires was only @3psi!

 

Mine has come on 3 times now.First time -45f,bad seal.Second time screw in the tire.Both times tire was down about 4 lbs.Stopped and checked with my tire guage,could barely see the low tire.The third time was yesterday,after getting my new snows installed,and the monitor came on,reset and all was good.I have non run flats,and I'm happy with the way the monitor works
