Be careful buying used Turbos ( or anything)

SOOOOOOOO...

It turns out the "JCW" Turbo I bought from someone used is indeed not a JCW Turbo.... I took the compressor side off and measure the Inducer and Exducer..They were 37mm and 52mm... It doesn't make sense to me as how this turbo came off of a 2009 JCW and I know the car has the proper brakes, badges (in the right places), no scuttle "s" ect.... I'm not gonna blame the seller as he seems like a decent guy it was just an honest mistake. I've contacted him to hopefully return it for my money back...If not I will just sell it...it has no shaft play and spins smooth. Big disappointment, Lessons learned.

The GOOD NEWS!!

In the midst of my sorrow my mini devil in me said "screw it...go bigger" SO I am ordering a JMTC Super 42 brand new! No more taking chances, time to make some power!

Same here but is the 43mm quick spool like the 42? This my first time hearing about this new one from Mario! When I talked to him last he was only pushing the 42 quick spool at the time. I held off because I was looking at getting one of the Prototype R's K04 hybrid turbos (both made by Borg Warner) but I don't know much about them. .

You should contact Mario. I have no personal experience with the turbo I only heard about it on a thread on this site.
