R50/53 New MINI Commercial
I think this TV ad is Canadian, because at the end the tag is MINI.ca. It's been playing for the last week or so.
A couple of guys are tooling around in a MINI - going quite fast.
The passenger reaches out and hits the toggle to lower his window.
The driver yells "NO DON'T"!
Too late! As the window goes down the passenger gets sucked out!
Pretty funny!

One of the funniest things I have ever seen is a magnetic badge that some of the classic Land Rover owners put right in front of the passenger seat.
It says:
Warning: Do not open windows at speeds in excess of 120mph.
If you have ever attempted to drive a classic Land Rover on the highway, you will know why it is so funny, as my old 1968 88" Series IIA could do 52 mph flat out with a decent tail wind
DaveInDenver took me for a ride today and he had an "ejector seat" switch on his console. Something that MINI-USA sends out, but I thought it was hilarious!

My youngest told me he saw his first MINI commercial while watching the Islanders game last nite...
He said it was something to do with an English Bobbie pulling over a kid who was supposedly driving on the wrong side of the road...etc...etc...
I haven't seen it yet ...personally...
Peace,
D

It's in the "Video Corner" here on MCO. It's my favorite of the MINI spots. Just like me, motoring down the road, rocking out.

The commercial about the person getting "sucked" out of the window was from the German MINI site. They had several others... all in German. (The only part I understood was the "Nein!" just before the passenger lowered the window).
Yeah, you're right - the commercial is still on the MINI German site. It's funny in any language!
