i have a 2009 R56 and the stock stereo went out. i am having a hard time finding a stereo place that has installed aftermarket stereos in mini's. i am looking to upgrade so i can connect to my phone. something like appleplay, ect. does anyone know of a shop that upgrades mini's? also, i'm looking for pics of upgraded stereos to see what it looks like.

thanks.

Not sure about specific MINI experience beyond mine. This guy is fast, inexpensive and honest. It was a pleasure to work with the guy. He can probably get you what you need or you can buy the stuff and bring it to him.

Most of the local Portland places are full of themselves, a rip off or don't have a clue what they are doing.

Allrite Mobil installations (Tony)
400 NE 112th Cir
Vancouver, Washington 98685
(360) 567-5042

My F56 I put in all new speakers, I did the floor subs, someone else installed the other ones and Tony did the JL Audio 6 channel amp for me.

If you haven't found a radio already, I have 2 with Bluetooth available for sale. They are in perfect working order and in original box with remote, batteries etc.
Also, I second Minnie.the.moocher 's opinion. I have also gone to Tony and had him install radios and subs. He works fast and all around great guy to work with. He works out of his home garage but he can handle almost any wiring work.
