Remote beeping and daytime lamps.

I have an '04 MCS and would like to know how to turn off:

a) the beep that accompanies locking/unlocking the doors remotely

and

b)the daytime running lamps.

Does anyone know how this is done? Thanks in advance!

The only reason you should be hearing a beeping when remotely locking the car is because one of the doors, the boot or the bonnet is not latched fully, or 'think's is not latched completely. Unless the '04s had this as a programmable option, it should not happen. The daytime running lights are a programmable option that the dealer can turn on or off for you. It's not 'user programmable'

It's a default sound, one beep for lock and 2 for unlock.
