I mostly like to listen to techno beats from Nick Warren, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Way Out West, etc. great beats and makes the music into a MINI heartbeat as I fly down the road. I also listen to misc. stuff from "The Flowerpot Men" with a song called "Beat City"......just some music trivia for ya.......or the ambient sounds of Tangerine Dream from Risky Business.......

I used to be a big rock fan, still am a HUGE Pearl Jam fan......but they haven't come out with things in a recent year or two (besides Lost Dogs) so I've been abiding my time with techno.......I occasionally listen to "South" or "Radiohead".

I do listen to music in my car......the intake and exhaust overpowers the loud radio anytime.......

I hate to admit it, I'm a disco queen--sorry. My husband on the other hand listens to anything that is extremely loud--heavy metal. A head banger and a disco queen--opposites do attract

Modest Mouse
Puffi Ami Yummi - Fame from Teen Titans cartoon

I am an itunes junky. Have always loved music though.

I have a wide selection in my CD case.. For when I get tired of hearing the same old commercials.. Choices range from D;Ream and Darude,to U2, and Dire Straits, to Pinkfloyd and Led Zeppelin, and to Yanni and Enya.. I guess I have all my many moods covered!

You really need to consider an iPod. It has room for the vast majority of my music collection and with the ice link/BMW your iPod, you can control it from your MFSW. I don´t have that, jsut the aux connection.

With just Pink Floyd and Zeppelin, you can cover most moods! Then again you could throw in some Enigma, James Taylor, Deep Purple and maybe Bob Marley to cover most any mood.

Thread hijack: What radio stations do you listen to?

I listen to mostly gothic/industrial and ebm music when I'm driving, just depends on my mood. Sometimes, I just don't listen to anything at all, but that's usually after a long day of motoring!

Hmmmmm, well, I have an extremely diverse collection of CDs, but the MINI seems to go well with artists such as Solstice, Blue Man Group, Venus Hum, Massive Attack, Morphine, Balligomingo, Crystal Method, Chemical Bros, Mandalay, Theivery Corp. etc. My best guess as to why this music appeals to me when I'm driving the MINI is that my Miata is just too noisy for anything except loud rock. The MINI is by far the quietest and most luxurious car I've ever owned.

Love Massive Attack!!! Although I've been pretty much in a BlutEngel mood for a while, but soon to change!!!! Maybe some rocking Doll Factory with their lovely hard industrial remix of Brittany Spears song "Baby One More Time" Time to torture the teeny boppers!!!! Oh maybe some SITD as well!!!
