Aren’t you meant to check the oil 10 mins after the engine has been run?

If you are cleaning it off, reinserting, and it comes out clean... I would add some oil and check again. Add a half quart, recheck and see if the level reaches the dipstick. If not, add another half, and recheck again. Repeat until you see oil on the dipstick.

You can check it fine hot or cold. You dont preferably want to *change* it cold.

I would say you have no oil. Add 500ml and check again. This same situation just happened to me.

Pull it out and wait a half hour if you can. Fold a paper towel and lay it against the
crease. Accurate every time.

In fact i was running dry. Also i found a very bad leak and i dont know if it is a turbo oil line or a oil filter housing gasket

Not a bad idea to replace the turbo oil line with a Detroit Tuned Super Kit. And while you have it apart for that it is easier to replace the "O" ring gasket in the oil filter base. This kit comes with everything you need (except labor) to do both jobs.
