Selling My Countryman

I have a 12 countryman that has some work done to it. It has:
Full intake off the turbo
Miltek catted downpipe, to a fully custom exhaust no mufflers or cats
Burger tuning chip
intercooler
Aftermarket intercooler piping
Diverter valve/wastegate

My question is do you think Id be better off taking the mods off and selling it stock or leaving the mods on and getting a maniac stage 2 and sell it like that?

I have the option to do a private sale or dealership sale.

I know the dealers arent going to want mods but Im hoping for a private sale and Im not sure if more people would be interested in mods.

What do you guys think??

Mods rarely get back anywhere near what you pay for them. Remove and sell.

If you can DIY getting them off, I'd go that route. Selling with mods gives the impression that you beat the engine.

I put them all on so it shouldn’t be a problem I think I’ll do that 😂

Plus one for all of the reasons above for taking them off....
What are you replacing with?
Good luck with the sale...

dealerships sometimes wont even take a car thats been modified due to regulatory hang ups. or they will literally do a negative value for it.
private sale as stated above usually buyers will immediately assume youve been a child and horsebeaten the thing - I know thats what I think everytime I see a car thats been modified anything other than Wheels.

Id agree with taking everything off. go to multiple dealerships for trade in value, while also attempting private party. Check out Carmax and AutoNation- they usually give the best trade in price- but to get best price from carMax it needs to be literally ALL OEM.

be ready to take a slight hit on the parts selling though- typically you can only regain maybe 40% of cost.

I would be interested in the downpipe and intake if you do take them off! Send me a PM!
