To get any choice in tires you'd have to go 225/50-16 which is going to put the tire 10mm closer to the wheel well trim ... and might rub with an ET37 wheel.

Taller tires like 205/55-16 and 225/50-16 adversely effect acceleration. Normal plus size for 195/55-16 is 205/50-16. There are few tire choices in 215/50-16 and 225/45-16 plus sizes.

If your 16x7 wheels are rubbing on the inner suspension then you can get more clearance by using a wheel spacer. But spacers may require longer wheel studs or bolts. You want to have enough threads to secure the wheel.

For a given wheel 205/55-16 and 225/50-16 are both 24.9" tire diameter.

225/50-16 fits rims 6-8" wide, perfect for 7" wide rim so it will fit your current rim. 16x8" will require more aggressive wheel offset and poke out

Compared to OZ Ultraleggera 16x7 et 37
16x8 et24 gives about the same inner clearance but pokes out 25.7mm more
Using this offset would require a wheel spacer for clearance to the inner suspension.

16x8" wheels with 225/50-16 tires might look aggressive but clearance would be much reduced due to any suspension drop from using coilovers. You may need more negative camber (adjustable front camber plates and rear adjustable control arms) and adjust ride height for minimal clearance.
