I just ordered a 2018 convertible with the tech package and enhanced BT. If I wanted to play Sirius/XM from my phone through BT, would any info show up on the car's display? I've found that the signal is much stronger through my phone than through the module that is built into the car.

 

I have a 2015 without the technology package. It has Harman/Kardon but the basic display and no Bluetooth streaming. I connect my phone via the cablr and use the Sirius XM app. The channel and song/title info show up on the radio display.

 

I just got my Mini on Friday and am a little baffled by the connections. I can play Spotify or Sirius from my phone and I hear it just fine. At one point I was able to see the song info on the display, but for the life of me can't figure out how to get back to it. When I go to Multimedia I'm presented with menu options, but no song info. Any assistance would be appreciated. I looked at the video tutorials that Mini provides on their site, but they were not helpful.

Because I have Android, Mini Connected is not the answer. I can't see apps anywhere, but that's a question for another thread.

 

To get back to your song info, go to Multimedia, External Devices, then select your phone name from the list. Song info should populate there
