Squint hard and you'll still probably see the exact same car. Squint really hard, then pull up multiple side-by-side photos on multiple screens, call in a buddy, and then you just might be able to see how the 2019 Mini Cooper will differ from the currrent model year. This is a midcycle refresh of a Mini - if you were expecting something different, we don't like your odds in Vegas.

Looks like the "guppy" mouth is a little more subtle.

 

Of course these changes will also be on the 2-door models as well. Looking forward to seeing the new lights.

Yes, my guess is the newer taillights will become more and more like the GP3 concept.

I guess they will be a straight swap on the taillights so earlier gen 3 F55-F57 cars can get them.

 

And I swore that I was finished with body mods. Oh, well.

 

When you see the price for them you'll probably still think you're finished.

 

As we do not have the most intelligent drivers here, the "arrow" shaped lights may be a hazard. I can also see an ambulance chaser using it as a defense. "The flashing arrow was pointing right even though it was on the left side of the car." -> <-

 

I can see that happening. Never thought of it. Then again, I give people in general too much credit sometimes.
