Anyone with info about the blow off valve for the F56 1.5T (Base)?

Engine doesn't have a blow off valve, it uses the wastegate to regulate pressure.

You should hear it with a catless downpipe and Bytetronik software

I could see some videos on YouTube about upgrading the air intake (K&N) and the sound is like having a blow off valve. Really cool.
But I'm not a fan of the air intakes that take the (hot) air from the engine bay.
I have a K&N air intake in my R56 and it takes the (fresh) air from the front grille area.

In my R56, catless = drone (and headache)
I assume that the same will happen in the F56.

I don't know if it's that I'm getting too old, but now I enjoy more the sound of a "good" turbo, rather than the catless, resonator delete, muffler delete exhaust.
I clearly need an exhaust with remote valve...

Absolutely zero drone from a catless downpipe on the F56. Driving normally it's barely louder than stock inside and outside the car.

So don't assume

Engine's are sooooo different between R56 and F56.

Thank you for the info.
In the R56 it was not easy to delete the cat without a CEL, and it couldn´t be deleted.
No problems on the F56 with that stuff?

You will still get a CEL on stock or piggyback. If you get software, for example, Bytetronik, they can deal with the CEL so it doesn't come on from the downpipe.

Mario advertises his downpipe to not throw codes. I have one, but have yet to put it on so I cant say if this is true or not.

Myself and another person who had Mario's downpipe both had CEL's so him saying that it doesn't throw codes is false. Maybe some luck out but the fact that he uses that as a selling point makes me mad because it's not the truth for everyone that runs the downpipe. I changed to a milltek and it fit 100000000% better.

Yes, no BOVs for the 1.5L or the 2.0L, sadly the turbo noise cannot be amplified that easy. The open intakes you can hear more noise from the turbo.
