Price reduction, R53 needs a new home!

R53 street legal track car.
Engine and trans built by RMW, dyno’d @251 whp.
RMW 77.5mm pistons & RMW rods, Mahle bearings, oil pan baffle, pump, RMW big valve heads, RMW camshaft.
OS Gilken lsd, STR 1 clutch, lightened flywheel, new SC and crank pullies.
Oil cooler, Miltek exhaust with removable Cat and RMW stepped race header.
Over $16k just in engine and trans alone. Have build sheet available upon request.

All adjustable Meghan coil overs, front and rear sways with end links, strut braces.
Wilwood calipers w/ slotted rotors and stainless lines.

Interior mostly gutted, full bolt in roll cage, Corbeau seats and 4-point harnesses.
Additional Pro comp oil press, water temp and boost gauges.
Chrono pkg with tach and speedo on top of steering column.

Exterior has new paint, body moldings, wheel arches and front aero bumper.
Super rare M7 adjustable rear wing.

This was a 3rd vehicle for me so didn't get much use, built specifically for track use but also street legal and registered to drive to the track and for fun. Always stored in heated garage.

ALSO have a set of black OZ Ultraleggera wheels in VG condition.

Will get you some interior pics shortly, the newly built RMW motor only has about 1600 miles on it. The car shows 171k on the odometer. The exterior is mint, no dings or scratches.

I also have a set of black OZ’s w/o tires

Are you in northwestern CT? I think I recognize Lime Rock in the background of one of the pix. How is it street legal with a cat delete?

The car is in Fairfield county area in a heated garage at my office.
I have a cat and a cat delete pipe that can be swapped out, it has V-band clamps, easy to swap out if your on the street or going to the track.

Thanks. Any chance of posting more interior pictures? I'd like to see how stripped it is. Also, how loud is it? Can you run at Lime Rock's 86 dB limit without modifications to the exhaust?

the interior is pretty much totally gutted, head liner, door panels & rear seat.
I left all the carpet in to help keep road noise down.
Obviously the dash is totally intact w/ airbag, I also have a spare dash top as my next project was to move the pro-comp gauges into the dash rather than on top.
Steering wheel is stock.

I never had a problem at Limerock until they had someone there actually checking db, then found out I was lightly over the limit so had to lift coming across the start/finish line for the rest of the day.

Can this be daily driven reliably or more of a weekend warrior? I’m looking for an R53 and am in Brewster NY.

Best,
Gene

if you can deal with the stiff ride and the race seats, yes it can be a daily driver. Otherwise I might put some of the poly bushings back in and take out the stainless spherical bushings. I have a blast driving it to work on occasion but bumpy roads could get a bit noisy

The front lower control arm bushings and rear have been replaced with stainless bearings, no rubber at all, makes for superior steering/ turn in response.
RMW did the work.
i use the direzza's on the track, they work great when warmed up temp.

I have ave a set of OZ's w/o rubber Also.

Do you have a link to these bushings? Very curious what they are.
