Congrats to Gabe on the logo!

I like both samples shown on the site. I particularly like the overall simplicity and the subtle American color scheme.

here's the other logo:

And how about Canadians? Can we join?

Or do we interpret the name to be "MINI Canada Car Association?"

Congrats to Gabe for the cool MINICCA logo!!! I love it!

So Dave in Denver, where do I send my dues? How much are they? When's the first MINICCA event? How can other local clubs like our SCMM (SoCal MINI Maniacs) affiliate with MINICCA? What are the benefits of joining? LET US KNOW.....ASAP!

TIA!

Cheers!

>> - didn't realize the smaller version was so similiar to the NBA logo. I wish they'd stop stealing our ideas

>How can other local clubs like our SCMM (SoCal MINI Maniacs) affiliate with MINICCA?

Very good question. This is something that were all wrestling with. Idealy we want the MINICCA to offer these local clubs something so compelling that it's hard not to join with the MINICCA.

>What are the benefits of joining?

Things like group insurance for autoXing, drives etc and discounts at MINI dealers and aftermarket shops are just a couple of the things we're aiming for. We also hope to make the website a powerful tool for information about everything regarding new and classic Minis.

We will!

2minis: It was…but some people thought it wasn't bold enough in terms of type for a logo for a brand new organization. I personally love it -- but you've gotta go with what the group thinks is best for the organization.

Hey Gabe,
My suggestion for the final color scheme: Try to get the pantone equivelant's to indie blue and chili red. Just to give it that little extra MINI kick!
I'm pretty sure there's someone on this site who could already tell you which ones come closest..

Is this the same MINICCA that is promoted on the roadfly board? It has a URL of minicca.org and a po box in McLean, VA. I hope it is, otherwise there will be mass confusion.

Tell the group they need to think outside the box...

You know, that winning logo sure would look good as a British-style license plate adorning the front bumper of my MINI...

Great design. I can't wait for the club to start!
