No rear braking?

I have a 2009 JCW. Just purchased. My braking was marginal. I checked the frond pads and rotors. All Were good. Went to the rears and found a mess. Who does things like this. They had a standard mini 10" rotor with the Brembo caliper.
Half the pads were worn down so far that the portion of the pad not on the rotor were actually touching each other preventing the pads from grabbing the rotor.
Just thought I would throw this out their for comments.
I have pictures but I'm having a problem loading them.

Looks like they replaced the rotors with regular S rotors, and not JCW rotors.

WTF indeed!

That's not a groove, its the slotting from ATE rotors. The poster is correct above, that the rotors are the wrong size for the JCW rear brakes. The pads are the same size as on the S, but the rotor is larger.
