Painted body color matched wheel arches

Did anyone have this done at a body shop? Any regrets or advice? What should it cost? Im guessing there is some prep sanding and special flexy primer

A body shop near me did my arches in gloss black a few years ago for $400. I think they would charge much more after doing it and seeing how much work it actually was to get them smooth. I loved the result though.

You can get it done, at one point MINI had body kits with that option. You can still get the primed wheel arches for the Gen 2 MINI.

If you get the primed ones it's easier to paint

I really like how the black looks with pepper white.

I used to have an '06 pepper white hatch and I had an auto body paint supplier mix the factory color for me in rattle cans and I did all theprep work. It's a LOT of tedious labor but the end results were well worth it. Total costs of all materials was $80-100 and umpteen hours of FREE labor.
