i am not completely sure, but i dont think that their are any changes to the 05. however, i am not sure that the 02 suspension will fit. i noticed a lot of the time that when shocks are sold they are labeled like 02 and 03 and up

but like i said, i am not positive
hope this helps

What he said about the 02 and 03 being different only refers to the early pre-march build dates for 2002....they had different linkages for the swaybars

'05's have the same "lift-kit" suspension as the '04's do, as far as I know. Then again, I've been generally negligent in keeping up on the rumor mill for the '05's

Ryan: Any idea how much higher ride height is with the 04 "lift-kit" suspension vs the 03? I'm thinking of getting the H-Sport springs with about 1" drop F&R.
Thanks

"lift-kit" MINI's sit on average about 0.5" higher than the early years. Of course, sunroof and other options will effect ride height. So, an identically equipped '02-'03 MCS will sit about 0.5" lower than it's '04+ brother, hence the "lift-kit" monkier. Lowering springs will lower the vehicles similarly, it's just the starting points are different. Different spring perches or something...Go figure

hmmmm...could this be why some people can just drop out the front struts without compressing the springs or breaking the taper pin joints?
