Made a really last minute decision to go with the ATI HB. This is brand new and I actually just got it in the mail today. I rather for local pickup, but if I have to ship then it will be via USPS Priority.

Is it new or used? Looks like there some paint missing on the screw hole sides

 

Unless Speedmaster is selling used parts as new, as far as I know, it's new. I inquired about the condition myself and was told that's it's definitely new. I received it in the mail yesterday like this.

 

Under magnification there is paint missing at the bottom hole and what is all the wrinkles that I see? That is not clear shrink wrap is it?

 

Not shrinkwrap, The entire front surface is covered in some sort of grease. It seems like you're telling me I was sold a used part, passed off as new despite what Speedmaster is telling me?

Pictures on computer screens are not the same as your eye. From the picture it sure looks like the paint is gone from the bottom hole in your first picture as if a bolt had been torqued thereby burnishing the paint off. In the second picture it looks like there are rust spots on the smooth front section.

Just telling you what I see.

 

If it looks like a duck.... guess I'll be taking this down and actually returning it, despite what they say for it being new.

Bump. Meh, decided to just sell it on here. Going to take a loss on monies with a 20% restocking fee and shipping cost anyway.

 

This has been sold
