sway bar kit

Hi folks,
I know this topic has been covered before, and I apologise for that. I have an F56 cooper d 1.5 with standard suspension. I would like to stop the body roll when cornering hard.
would you recommend just the rear sway bar or a full kit front and back.

the Eibach kit is back ordered until December here in the UK. Also when cornering the stability control comes in and brakes at surprisingly low speeds. My old Countryman, and paceman could corner much quicker.

the tyres are 195/55/16 Michelin energy savers. Any advice would be much appreciated. Regards Nick.

Because the cars tend to understeer, the rear bar is more critical than the front. Eibach is the only supplier that I am aware of that offers both front and rear bars, so I'm not sure the front bar is that critical.

However, your best option may be to find someone selling their sports suspension, That's an easy bolt-on improvement.

The rear bar makes a massive difference.

Yes, I think I will fit the rear one. The only trouble is if I find I need a front one, I can't find a listing for it for sale other than a full kit. But I think I will fit the hardrace 22mm rear one. Thanks.

I suggest checking out the installation cost/effort for the front bar too. On the R56, changing the front bar required dropping the front subframe, whereas the rear bar was a simple swap.

I have just seen someone breaking a JCW mini. My mini is standard suspension. Would the springs dampers and sway bars of the JCW all be better and uprated than my own. If so I will try to bid for them. Thanks again.

The standard JCW suspension is the "Sport" suspension. It was an option on the S until the '16 or '17 model year. It would be a definite improvement over what you have now. Made a world of difference when I swapped my stock suspension for a JCW system on my R56.
