Black wheel touch up paint

I have the shiny black wheels and one has a couple dots with paint missing....bout 4-5mm diameter. I was surprised to find after the sales staff telling me they had paint that matched the wheels that the service dept. told me they did not! Salesman for ya! So....does anyone have a line on where I might find matching paint or a paint code for these? Supposedly they don't keep those for painted wheels...but I bet they do! Anyone have to touch up one of these wheels?

I touched up a few spots on my 2014 black wheels with leftover VW black touch up (from 2013 Golf). Unless you stick your face right near the wheel you don't notice it isn't an exact match. I wouldn't overthink this one.

No, I'm not going to over think it. Going to the parts store today to see what they have. Maybe even the hobby store for some model car paint. I bet I can solve this one. Probably some black glossy paint from about anywhere would suffice. But, you would think Mini would be an option in that quest. NOT!

Sherwinn Williams formula 59049 or 91159

"Miscellaneous Jet Black"

MINI parts appears to not list colors that are not 'body' while paint suppliers to body shops do ....

available from www.automotivetouchup.com

note: I'd try in a small spot for match but this was good in earlier years

and

painted wheels are base/clear system so you should top coat with clear to get the desired finish. "base" is not glossy
