I have a 2011 mini cooper s
I saw a movie or something on tv and the person escaped from the trunk
Is there something you can pull or push in the 2011 cooper s that will pop the trunk if you're ever locked inside in an emergency situation?

I'm sure what you saw was an escape from a sedan. My BMW 328 has an inside trunk release. On a hatchback all you have to do is fold the seats or push the hatch privacy cover out of the way to escape the trunk (boot).

 

If you're locked inside, just pull on the door handle twice (first pull unlocks).

Or do you mean if you're locked inside the trunk? Easy – pull on the lever to fold down the rear seat back, then exit out the door.
