This will be my third time! It's a lot of fun and that part of Michigan is beautiful this time of the year. Everyone should sign up and do it!

 

Turns out the third time was not the charm.MINI Cooper owners drove across the Mackinac Bridge Saturday, trying to break a world record set in London in 2009.
It's known as MINI on the Mack.
But they fell short by just over 120 cars.
This time around 1,328 MINI Coopers crossed the Mighty Mac.
They also tried in 2013 and 2015.
The event is put together by MINI of Grand Rapids, a car dealership.
While they don't have the record, they did raise well over $10,000 for the Van Andel Institute Purple Community, an organization focused on Parkinson's disease research and awareness.

 

My daughter, my dog, and I drove up for the day. Third time I'd done it. Bummed that we couldn't break the record, but nice day for a drive!
