Interior changes now in place of July 2017, lumber seat support gone along with Auto-Man air-con recirculation just manual recirculation. Driving modes moved to the toggle switch which was used for the head up display control / up-down, head up display now accessed by the I-drive controller.
Seems every year MINI remove options in order to cut costs, always thought cars were meant to get better.
Exterior changes to follow shortly?
New headlights with seamless running lights (Audi style) with minor bumper alterations as far as I know.
UK model shown

-Lumbar adjustments are still there for leather only options. Anything with cloth no longer gets lumbar like it used to.
- Auto air recirc is still there, but they simplified it. Auto is now the default and manual is still available - they just no longer allow manual vents open. (This one is unconfirmed, but that's what I was told by somebody at MINI. Apparently the old 3-way selection was too confusing for people)
- Driving mode controls and HUD controls are changing for July production for all 2018MY MINIs along with updated fuel gauge, new turn signal/wiper stalks, and some minor trim changes. For example, the F60 won't have two elastic straps on the side, just one and the Clubman and F55 won't have metal door sills for the back doors.
- Exterior facelift will happen probably for March production on the F56, F55, and F57. New engines and transmission options are rumored as well.
Driving mode controls are in the perfect spot now. Moving them further away only works for long armed people.
The seats in my 14 HT are possibly the best seats I've ever used other than luxury cars. Making lumbar for leather only is a wrong headed move. You are not entitled to back support unless you like leather!
All this does IMO is make my case even stronger for buying gently used higher optioned MINIs so you get the good stuff.
Auto/Manual air con recirculation is from July build MINI's in the UK, just how this affects USA build cars I'm not sure.
Still looks to be a small cost cutting measure to me for the F56 model range.
I want those taillights! Looks like the headlights may have a black background color. I don't notice any changes to the body really, but I guess the camouflage is doing its job. Not crazy about those wheels.
Was told by my dealer the only word they have received is a Fascia update.
I had read there was going to be a DCT transmission in the 18's along with slightly more powerful and fuel efficient motors in the Justa and MCS...Alas, appears to have been strictly rumors.
Perhaps in the 2019 models........Would love to see a 7 speed DCT in the Mini.

My dealer told me the 2019's will be starting production as soon as early as December. Maybe the powertrain upgrades will show up then?
