3rd brake light, how to replace on Clubman

I have a 2008 Clubman R55 and need to replace the center brake light. Does the light pry out of the black roof trim or do I have to remove the four screws holding the trim? I searched the forums and got some info but not for the Clubman R55.

You'll need to remove the four screws - easiest to open the barn doors.

My son is having the same issue. He removed the 4 screws, but now the rear window washer stops the trim piece being removed. Does anyone have pictures or video on how to do this. He's very meticulous about his car and is a bit worried about braking something.
