Newbie questions: timing chain and thermostat

For the high risk components that have been replaced, such as the timing chain, tensioner, do they come back in the future? If so, do they come back around the same time?

thanks.

They are wear items. Sooner or later both will need to be replaced. I'm looking at replacing the timing chain in another 70k to 90K. Others may give it more. Clean intake ports every few years. Parts wear and get dirty.
