Collecting some performance specs for Clubman. About the only things I am missing are 50-75 times. Hard to find for Clubman.

N12 50-75mph
N14 50-75 5.9 4th gear, 7.6 5th gear
N14 JCW 50-75 5.4 seconds
N16 50-75
N18 50-75
N18 JCW 50-75

Some interesting numbers are:
Drag coefficient: .34 (hardtop is .36)
weight distribution is 58.1/41.9 front/rear, hardtop is 62.7/37.3
Lateral Acceleration 200' skid pad .89g
Speed 700' slalom 67.2




I found it interesting the N14 horsepower is 171,torque is 177, and overoost is 192. The N18 horsepower is 181, torque also 177, and overboost 192. 0-60 N14 is 7 seconds, N18 6.8seconds. So how does a N18 Clubman go faster then an N14 if the torque is the same? All I can figure is the N18 has a wider band. Ideas?

 

A note, even with the 2016 Clubman S 0-60 time of 6.9 auto, 7.0 manual, the 50-75 is 7.6 seconds.

 

Just stumbled on this in my research for buying a JCW. The double vanos should broaden the area under the curve - same peak but gains elsewhere. It can also decrease the lag a little, improving the actual boost achieved when accelerating, a trait you won't see in a dyno plot. While this is what it is supposed to do, I haven't seen a dyno plot of both engines on the same dyno on the same day, and anything else would make it hard to really compare.

 

My Clubman I just did some 0-60 runs and pulled a 5.72, 5.65, & a 5.62 I’ll try to get some 50-75 times if you want.

All be it mine has a 43mm JWTC Turbo and a Manic stage 1 tune AEM cold air intake and NM Engeering Exhaust.

The N14 did 50-75 in 5.9 seconds and 7.6 seconds in 4th and 5th gears. Anyone got them for N18?

 

Well, still no luck on the internet. If anyone has Clubman R55 N18 50-75 I would be grateful.
