2013 JCW Market Value?

Whats the going price for a 2013 JCW R56? There is one near me for sale with only 2,500 miles, it's really tempting but they want $28k and it seems a bit high. KBB says $20.5K for private sale and $23k for dealer.

I'm more looking at GP2 but at this low miles its hard to pass up, what do you think would be a fair price?

I bought my 2013 JCW almost one year ago exactly for $27k. 8900 miles, fully loaded, msrp of $42k not including full front clear bra and window tint. If dealer is selling for $28k they probably obtained at around 24-25 I would guess. Most JCWs I see on the market are around 23. Any JCW's that are higher priced are typically GPs.

It's a private seller, 1 owner he just never drove it. I've been in the market for a GP2 but this one came up and figured i'd give it some serious consideration since its practically new and has its warranty for a couple more years.

Thats a little too high but its nothing crazy since it does have 2500 miles. I've seen some with around 40k floating around craigslist for about $15k New car warranty should be running out if it hasn't it should have CPO which is very nice.
I got mine last october for $20.5k. It had 15k miles Only add ons it doesn't have are the recaro seats and comfort access.

I was at dealership picking up some parts when I was approached with an offer for an outright buy ( I'm not looking or even thinking about this) of my 2013 heavily modded JCW (with 44k miles). Car was ordered new thru this dealership so they were familiar.
They offered $12.5 cash or maybe a better deal on a new JCW.
I just looked at them and said nothing.

I paid $31k in 2013 for my 2013 JCW with 11k miles (I'm the second owner; car was about 10 months old with a $37-$38k sticker IIRC)

Four years later, $28k seems realllllllly steep for the car

Every couple of months I'll get a mailer from the dealership about "upgrading" to an F56 (hell no!), and they usually offer around $12k for the trade-in value

I have a 2013 JCW also, and agree, that $28K is a bit high. It would have to be completely loaded with all the bells and whistles to even get close.
I bought my JCW in the summer of 2015 and paid about $28K with 4500 miles on it.

I'd offer the dealer $22K and see what they say. It might sell to the right buyer, but it hasn't retained 66% of it's MSRP after 4 years. Not having a warranty, or CPO designation, is a significant check mark in the minus column.
