Neused Wheels for my 90

Hey all,

Wanted to share the wheel set that just arrived for my 90 Mini.
Its a set of SSR MK-II 13x7 and 13x8 with racing slicks.

Bought used off the internet as used, never used. Amazing shape considering the price. I haven't even done a light polish, just unwrapped the packing paper and bathed it their greatness...

Currently trying the replace the nylon bushing on the steering rack, after the repair, i'll test fit a side with pics, but for now...

What do you think?

13x8 , 13x8, 13x7, 13x7

backs side 13x8 , 13x8, 13x7, 13x7

13x7 data

13x8 data

trying to show depth

Been working on the Mini to get it ready for the road. Currently in the shop for final inspection then should be plated and driving tomorrow night. But earlier I had the chance to fit the wheels on and take some pictures. I think its great although the need for proper fender flares is painfully obvious. Enjoy

Be ordering the SSR center caps in a bit so the look will be complete

165/65R12 on a 12x4.5j wheel

205/515R13 on a 13x7j wheel

225/515R13 on a 13x8j wheel

The new wheels weigh less too. So win.

How the heck can I get the text to stay above the pictures?
This has confused the old dinosaur too much :(

Be prepared to do top and bottom ball joints and wheel bearings more often due to the stress you will be putting with those wheels.....

Thanks for the heads up.

Any suggestions as to where to buy uprated parts to help prevent that?

What parts would need to be changed if stronger would help?

Thanks,
Scott

Buy Rover or Delphi parts instead of the "cheap" ones.....

Timkin wheel bearings and genuine rover ball joints will last longer
