bi xenon issues
Hello
i have a 2007 r56 which has stock halogen H4 headlights. i bought a set of projector headlight with angel eyes. these headlights have a bi xenon projector and takes h9 bulbs. these headlights are plug and play straight into the existing headlight wire harness only thing that required wiring were the angel eyes.
my issue is when the car engine is off and i toggle high beam the shutters flip up as they should so i know they work. however when i switch the engine on the shutters do not open fully. they seem to flutter up and down (only about 1cm) as if they are fighting to open but they never do. this only happens with the engine on. with the engine off it works perfectly every single time no matter how fast or slow i toggle high beams.
has anyone experienced this issue or knows what maybe causing with a possible fix?
thanks for taking the time to read

You need to code the xenon VO and add it.
You have your xenon headlights installed but your car doesn't know until you could program it.
Add $522 VO to CAS and FRM modules with NCS Expert.
That will do the trick : )

Bi xenon
thanks for your help I'll definitely have a look into it.
I'm not sure of the make of the headlights but I think they're the same as the spec d ones they look exactly the same. It's weird that the shutters don't work with the engine on. Seem like they aren't getting the full 12v when the engine is started. Funny thing is when I put full beams on then the hazard lights I can see the shutters bobbing up and down in sync with the hazards. So definitely something going on with the FRM. I'll have a look around the internet to get it coded.
