What is everyone's opinion on the black stripes? Anyone see it on the cool blue cabrio, yet? My Cool Blue Cabrio S is due in tommorrow and I need to make a decision on the stripes. It has a blue ragtop with the exterior chrome package.

2 years ago I settled on a red/white top S with a sunroof. I hadn't figured on stripes (mine are white) but they took me around to show me one that just came in off the boat and was available. It had stripes and I thought "what fun".
2 years and 20,000 miles later I still think "what fun". Cars without stripes look bland. I think black stripes are very cool on the grey, blue and yellow ones I've seen. The Mini is a fun car so I'd say go for it.

 

Get them, if you really don't like them, peel them off...but you won't :smile:

 

I have the black stripes on an indi blue with black roof and I've never been sorry I got them. It's been 7 months and I still like them.

 

I think black with white stripes and white with black stripes look hot.
