iPhone 7+

Is there an adapter that works with the newest phone? Dealership guys are telling me no, nothing later than 5 and 5s.

Are you talking about the snap in adapter? If so, the dealer right. While the new snap in adapter is universal so it will plug into any iPhone with the Lightning connector, the 7+ itself just can't fit in the armrest.

Maybe I should have tried to see if it would fit before posting... Thank you!

Any brilliant hacks or other products that people have discovered that hold the phone on the rail system while allowing it to connect to the USB input? As I understand it, that is the only way that MINI Connected will actually work.

You can get pretty much any mount you'd like and just get a Lightning to Lightning extension cable to give you the flexibility to put the phone where you'd like while still utilizing the Y-cable for MINI Connected.

My favorite mount: http://www.cravenspeed.com/products/...nting-Kit.html

Extension cable: https://www.amazon.com/Lightning-Ext.../dp/B018HD4RP0
