Ive never seen a red-faced tach, was this custom, or just part of this particular car? Everything else is as 'normal', right?

Honestly,im a r53 guy not r56,so to answer your question i would say i don't know. It is how it was on the car before the removal. Car alao has big Brembo brake front set up

those gauges are OEM, i think the inside parts are Out Motoring decals which 129 and up a piece
