Hit a possum

A fat possum.

Anything I need to be worried about damage wise?
Looking into a new bumper. Fat **** cracked it and broke off most the clips.
Plastic below the radiator is also cracked but radiator looked fine to me.

For what it's worth your comprehensive coverage takes care of impacts with animals. Also most insurance companies do not 'punish' drivers for comprehensive claims. If you have that coverage I would turn it over to them and let them handle it.

watch for coolant leaks ..... and leaks in general. Could have damaged a hose, or the rad' mount (plastic)

Are you on FB and familiar with SUNSHINE MINIs goup?
or http://www.sunshineminis.org/forums/index.php

agree comp is a way to go ... but comp is not required so not everyone has it .....

if you do you might be surprized to learn that a big deductable on comp may not be saving you much money. I had a sizable deductible and asked about lowering it to zero. Increased my rates by about $40 ayear for 4 cars ..... and with my insurance comp' covers glass replacement .... (I am aware glass is a special case in FL so don't tell me about that; I did this when I lived out of FL ... but for others this is worth a call to your agent)

*******
I feel your pain .... hit something on I-95 yesterday and cut the sidewall of a brand new runflat on wife's R59 ...... grrrrr. At least the RF let me drive home to deal with it .... Hello, tirerack .....

Yeah not going through insurance.
With a replacement cover and a new radiator I'm still below my deductible.
Hoping no radiator issues though.

I am not. But I will be soon. lol.
Honestly didn't know there was a forum for Fl peeps.

I'll check for leaks tomorrow. I didn't move my car today. Just pulled the cover and pushed a dent out. Tried to reattach the black plastic on the bottom but some of those clips are broken. I think I lost 2 of the top clips holding onto the carrier. Thank god for screws also holding it in place.

Lucky for you, I hit a possum one evening 03 going about 50mph with my 02, R50. The damage came to $4300 and change. Bumper cover + paint, The cheap metal grill, AC Evaporator,Radiator, and a whole page of brackets, clamps, screws, then shop labor, and supplies. Back then the only place to get it worked on was MINI. Farmers paid all but the $250 deductible, and didn't ding me for the claim. Foo

Sadly I kept on drivin. lol.
Should've gotten him for the doggo.

So far no leaks. So I'm thinking very minimal damage. I wasn't going that fast thankfully.
Looks like just a cover and the radiator support. Though the cover is way worse than the support. It didn't fully crack the support. Sure as **** cracked my cover though. I did get a souvenir though - hair. lol
