Any Value for a Drivers Side - Side Sun Visor?

I am not that familiar with the standard options on the 2015/16 MINI's as far as the side sun visor is concerned. I thought I read that some cars have them while others do not. This is the side sun visor over the drivers door, not the sun visor looking out the front windshield.

In any event, I removed mine since I didn't use it and with it removed i have more side head room.

Does anyone want it for their car? I could make a post in the Marketplace section but first wanted to know if that was a waste of time since it may be a standard item.

It appears to be part #51167375953 in black and I have all the hardware to re-install it. I guess if you have the holes with the covered grommets it will mount right up for you.

So if you want it let me know i can send you some pics.
$40 shipped to you paid with PayPal.

I love mine and use it all the time. I'm 6'4" and it doesn't intrude on my headroom at all. That's a good price and I don't think you'll have any trouble selling it. Good luck.

I'd keep it if I were you! More drivers like having the side visor than not, and it might come in handy when you sell the car in the future. But, my guess is you might decide to reinstall it, as it really DOES help! MINI should have never eliminated this feature imo.

Until Vetsvette mentioned it to me, I didn't realize I had one in my 2015.

I have yet to use mine.

I think its been eliminated on the new models.

I am in th UK and only a couple of months ago I got my dealer over here to order the LH one for me as I suffer with photofobia and it helps with glare from the side. I had to show the guy in the parts department how to change the computer system to LH drive to confirm the part number. I may have the only car with a full set of 4 sun visors.

I believe it was eliminated on 2016 models. In the old days when you could swing your visor from the front to the driver side window are loooong gone.... with the invent of wider cars with long side windows that make such practicality obsolete! It's a good thing to have....I've used mine to reduce glare from the side & it definitely helps!

My 2016 came with one so not eliminated though my 2016 was a July 2015 build.

Nah, I've got one on my '16 JCW, and it was a May '16 build. I had the car for about 3 months before my wife says "Hey, what's that visor looking thing next to your head?"

Weirdest thing I've ever seen in an interior, but I will admit, I've used it.
