LSD, just makes the Mini

Was reading in another gen thread about a guy that did not have LSD on his JCW. What caught my eye was that he said after he had an aftermarket LSD installed the torque steer was gone. I went from a R53 with no LSD to my current R52 JCW with LSD. I thought it was just me as the first time I pushed the car I was amazed at the significant decrease in torque steer.

On my R53 I did the pulley/air box/muffler change but came to the point where the added power was not doing me a whole lot when I went into a turn under power. The LSD just makes a Mini so much better.

Makes it so much better that I am selling my 08 Corvette and keeping the R52. Yes some might say I am crazy.

I was either going to buy a high mileage R53 and mod it or if I found a low mileage JCW buy it. Found my chili red with 46k on it. Bone stock, in very nice shape. Going to do some maintenance work on it this weekend; crank sensor o ring, water pump, tstat, new belt and belt tensioner.

There is no comparison between one with the LSD and one without.
