Who to contact at Mini with a problem?

When one is having a problem with the dealer, who does one contact?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

first step is to get ahold of 1-866-ASK-MINI. If they can't help, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

You can contact the BMW zone manager for starters. You'll probably have to go to another dealer to find out how to contact him.

Another method is through MINI USA. Call the generic number and describe the problem you're having. After the obligatory "Sir, we're very sorry you're having this problem but this is a dealer issue - the dealers are independent entities and we can't tell them what to do. Please resolve this with your dealer..." niceties, ask to speak with a supervisor. Continue this process up the food chain. Eventually you will reach a person who can actually do something within the BMW organization. Don't be surprised if he's a VP of Something or Other. It's a test of wills. Most owners aren't up to the challenge...

Good luck.
