Picture of my 05 MCS (Oct delivery)

Hey everyone,

Just thought I would share a pic of the 05 MCS that I ordered. Should arrive in October. I haven't decided on the R99 wheels yet.

How do you get a print off the configurator?

I imagine he just took a screenshot of it and cropped that part out.

Depending on what you are planning on doing with your car. i.e. if you would want an extra set of rims, you might consider getting the stock rims and then getting aftermarket rims like the Kosei K1 TS ($199 on Tire Rack I think). They look quite similar, and it might be cheaper to get these extra than to get only the one set from Mini. Of course you would have to buy a new set of tires too, but that might not really be a bad thing either

The configurator now lets you download your finalized MINI, much like the Robot configurator did.

MandaBoo, thanks for the info. I haven't decided what rims I am going to get but I think aftermarket is the way to go. If I could only talk my dealer into trading the S-Lites for the R99's; but in the world of Mini, there isn't too much that is free.

Mmmmm, nice car! That's our color scheme as well! We originally were interested in Indy Blue/white, but when I saw the Chili Red/black, I flipped! We have those bonnet stripes as well!
You are in for some awesome motoring!

Thanks Califzeph, I can't wait to pick her up. Funny you should say Indi Blue/White, our other Mini is Indi Blue/White. It is an 03 Cooper CVT. My wife uses it as her daily driver and loves it.

That's funny. That's also the other combination that we considered before getting IB/W. If we get a second MINI, it'll definitely be CR/B.

I love IB/White. I think it is such a great color combo. I wanted my 05 MCS to be a little more 'mean' looking than my wifes Mini and I think the Red/Black combo pulls that off nicely.

My wife is actually a _huge_ Georgia Bulldog fan. So she'd be driving the red and black, if/when we get one. It'd also have to have custom 'G' graphics and assorted Bulldog extras. She's also already decided the car will be named Herschel (Herschel Walker being probably the Georgia Bulldogs best ever football player). I'm not really a sports fan, so I'm just sort of going along with this plan...

TomAiello, a Georgia Bulldog Mini sounds cool. You can be certain you and your wife would have the only Bulldog Mini in the country. Maybe your Mini would become the teams second mascot!

Have you seen the Bulldog Roof Graphic in the gallery at Cooperflags.com? I think if there are any more, we might be able to get a group rate. Bulldogs fans are _rabid_ (but don't tell my wife I said that).

I just went to Cooperflags web site and if you click on the roof graphics, it comes up with a pop-up stating they are now under new ownership and cannot take new orders for roof graphics.

Any insiders from Cooperflags know when you'll be taking orders again? My MCS will be here near the end of Oct and I'm interested in getting a sun-roof flag.

Yeah something wierd is going on with cooperflags, everything seemed to be run by Matt and then while dealing with him I had a few-week delay then got a response from someone else. They resolved my issue immediately so no need to worry about the change being negative. Could just be something simple like handing it over to a larger shop that can handle the volume better.
