Scanguage or traditional gauge?

What do you guys prefer? Traditional guages or this scanguage? I'm just tired of not knowing. Also does autometers lighted gushes match the orange backlighting of the minis tach and spedo well?

Frankly I think it's criminal on behalf of MINI and NTSB (or whatever govmint agency that's responsible for certifying new cars) not to include at least a water temp gauge.

I bought a ScanGauge and haven't installed it yet because I'm currently on disability.

Interestingly enough, it's this disability that led me towards these unorthodox gauges. I know that a traditional gauge is what will ultimately make me happy.

I love traditional gauges but they are expensive. Scanguage is only $100 and you can read almost anything especially if you code it to read oil temp, ATF temp, AFR, FRP and engine temp.

How/where did you get ScanGauge for $100?

I like the P3cars version in digital because it does all in one and can read and clear codes, but some people like the traditional old rounds gauges like the MINI JCW sport gauges or the Alta Gauges.

I love the look of traditional guages but the scan guage would be more simple. I may just go with that.

I love the looks and style of traditional guages but the language is "simple", I may just go with that.
