New to MINI

Hello All,
Just picked up my first MINI, got a great deal on a '12 Cooper S All 4.
Have been all over the place with cars I've owned, my 91 BMW 525 still remains my favorite. First impressions are I love this car! It's genuinely fun to drive even on my 90 min commute to work.
Looking forward to learning more especially when repairs inevitably rear their head.

R60 Towing

I am also new to mini cooper. We just got a 2014 Countryman w/manual transmission.

We are looking at towing a 1900lbs Tear Drop trailer.

Will this work with a 1.6L engine? Do I need a class 1 or Class 2 hitch?

I know class 1 are rated to about 2000lbs but wanted to check things out from more experienced owners.
