I have a 2008 Cooper S that has the standard S body kit and I always wanted to convert it to the JCW body kit which looks far more aggressive. However, when I look online, the price of the body kit is 2 grand, which is a price I simply cannot justify for bumpers and side skirts without paint. Is it even worth it to swap over the S body kit to the JCW and if it is, where can I get one for a more, in my eyes, reasonable price.

 

ECS Tuning is ALWAYS a good source for this type of purchases. The Gen2 JCW Aero Kit was on sale recently with deep discounted prices.

Another source is CL and it is only by pure luck within the area you live in. Ebay is usually in used condition with deep scratches or broken tabs. All of that said, what are the chances of you purchasing the exact color as your MINI - no one knows.

Also, keep in mind whatever $$$ you're saving by purchasing used will be used to whatever the bodyshop charges to make it right. At days end, might be more cost effective and quicker just to get the whole kit and call it a day.

Thanks Joey for the mention. We don't have any Cooper S kits left at the supersale price, but we do have som Cooper ( NON S ) ones that would have to be modded to fit.
