Ok, using my hi-beams for the first time tonight, driving down a dark, twisty, deer-infested road. I couldn't get my hi-beams to stay on! Am I missing something, or is this the way that they are? I'd pull the lever towards me...on. As soon as I let go...off. Is that it?!

 

Try pushing the stalk outwards. That's how the high beams go on in my truck.

You're not pulling it far enough toward you. A light pull is a "wink". A little further puts them on.

 

You have to PULL the stick TOWARDS you all the way until it clicks. Then it should stay!

 

Mount a couple Maglights to your dashboard. That'll help.

Now , I can use my maglite that's in the car for it's intended use....all purpose weapon!
