16x7" rim and 215/45-16 tire fit??
Will a 16X7" rim mounted up with a 215/45-16" tire fit a 2003 R53 with stock S suspension and brakes? I have searched all over NAM including the race and solo forums and I can not find a definitive answer.

Should fit fine if the offset is ok (+38 to +45).
Years ago I ran 205/50/16 BS S-03's which had a wide tire protector
sidewall and were essentially about 215 wide in practice
with 16x7 +42 and there was adequate room and no rubbing.
