Alarm

Enjoying my F57 JCW convertible but having a little issue with the alarm. When i push the button on the fob or the door handle to lock the door, I get the chirp letting me know its locked and armed. The second I walk away, the alarm goes off. It happens more often with the door handle than the fob. I know she wants to keep driving and misses me...but wow....didn't think she would go that far

Anyway...any ideas on what could be causing that?

I have a F56 JCW and part of the alarm is a temp sensor. So if I leave the windows down or the moon roof open the alarm will go off. But if I push the lock once then wait 3-5 seconds then push the lock again you will hear a click sound that is the temp sensor deactivating. Alarm is still armed just won't go off with a difference in temp.

Interesting...didn't know they had a temp sensor. Mine is happening with all doors/tops/windows closed.

my 2015 s goes off everytime I drive it somewhere, get out, lock vehicle.
found out it is because I have a drivesense module plugged in from my car insurance company.
I had driven it for a year without a problem, then all of a sudden. If I stop the
car, unplug the module, then turn off the engine and get out and lock car. Does not have problem.

Minithis...you may be onto something. I have my valentine one savvy plug into my port for power. I will check into that and let you know.

Thanks.
