First off, my car is a 2012 MINI COOPER S COUPE R58 with 55000 km. So here's the deal... so weird and random. I don't know if any other members have experienced the same thing.

So today I'm about to go to work. I head outside and unlock my doors, roll down the windows using the convenience feature on the key fob. Get in the car and place the fob in the ignition. All of sudden I hear static come from the speakers and then a big boom from all the speakers. I released the key from the ignition not knowing what it was, and the same thing happened again without having the key in. So after freaking out, I started the car but now my head unit works properly but I have no sound anywhere. Did my amp fry from some type of short ? Are my speakers blown ? Is this a known issue ? I'm totally in the dark with this one.. I've never had something like this happen in all my years of owning vehicles . Any advice would be greatly appreciated
