Smile little oil stain around turbo

I was wondering if I should take the car in, I found some small oil stains around the turbo and was wondering, should I leave it, is this normal or should I get it inspected.

thanks for your suggestions

You may have some around the oil feed line. The stock line is known to leak. If you replace it, go with the Detroit Tuned version.

Not too terribly important to fix until it becomes worse.

You can. There are instructions included with the kit and on the DT website.

I did mine when I had everything apart when I upgraded the turbo.

Wondering if this leak would cause blue smoke when I give lots of gas on highway driving, otherwise no blue smoke when normal driving ... is this normal, would it be possible the oil is getting through the oil line and burning through the turbo.

What year is your car?

Replacing the oil feed line would not solve that issue. The blue smoke could be caused in part by:

1. Faulty PCV valve that is integral to the valve cover.

2. Faulty oil seals inside the turbo housing. You would have to rebuild or replace the turbo.

There may be other causes too.

I installed an oil catch can recently, would that be a cause for this, should I go back to stock and remove the catch can to see if it makes a difference, I also went to stage 2 tune.
